We are the Yost family. As you may have heard, Larry (our dad) passed away in March 2022 from AML cancer. He started a legacy that we will continue to improve and grow.

 

We started composting in 2009 with the vision of bringing a stellar product and service to the market. With our farming and ranching history, bringing compost to farmers and ranchers was natural to Larry. Compost helps improve the soil by adding not only nutrients needed for a healthy crop, but by also adding organic matter to help balance the soil and unlock some previously unavailable nutrients. Our business has evolved over the years. We had Y-Bar Enterprises and Yost Spreading for many years, then decided to add Dynamic Agriculture Solutions to the mix as the compost production company. However, as of 2026 we will be merging the 3 companies into one. We know farmers and ranchers have been struggling with commodity prices, and we are doing our best to keep our prices as low as possible and still provide a great product and service. One company cuts down on some expenses giving us the opportunity to give our clients some of those price cuts.

Our  'Y' logo is our way of respecting our dad and his years of dedication to our family and businesses. The 'Y' brand comes from the history of our ranch in Kansas.
